Last week a problem with some ten years’ background was settled. It concerns around 500 families. An “army” of several thousands of deceived would-be apartment owners was the result of construction booming from years ago.
There was a situation in which it was possible to collect several millions of dollars before 100 apartments building construction. It was natural, that in some cases the constructors just committed fraud the people misappropriating their money.
The Arami Street issue is from the same range, yet with a significant difference – the constructor completed the block, it managed to sell the same apartment to 6 or 7 different people. Around 500 families were victims of this financial fraud, remaining with no money and no apartment afterwards.
And now, after “touring” dozen of courts, the citizens received the long awaited keys to their apartments.
