The religious leaders of the Middle East were in Washington. The main focus of the meeting with the US President was the protection of the endangered Christians of the troubled region.
Catholicos Aram I of the Holy See of Cilicia was among the leaders at the meeting, who elaborated on the situation of the Armenians in the region. Going into details on the Armenian Isssues the Catholicos emphasized the importance of the initiative of retuning the estate remaining in Turkey but belonging to the Christians. This issue is on the US Congress Agenda.
