Ashig Havasi is widely remembered the first Saturday or Sunday in September annually in Ayzama Armenian populated village, Tsaka Region. On September the 6th the homeland of the beloved ashig brought together the residents of the area under the tunes of national and ashig singing.
The same they it was also crowded in Ninotsminda. Many culture, social and political figures from Armenia and Diaspora arrived to be present at the opening of the youth center of great regional importance.
The festive ribbon was cut by Bagrat Sargsyan, The Samtskhe-Javakheti Program Support Committee Chairman and Mayor of Alfortville , France. The newly established center was blessed by The Most. Rev. Bishop Vazgen Mirzakhanyan, Head of the Diocese of Armenian Church in Georgia.
