Armenian and Russian (from Russian Military Base #102 located in Armenia) sub-units were involved in the Armenian-Russian joint military group battalion tactical exercises launched on September 3. The scenario of the final phase was based on the Armenian-Russian joint resistance to the attacks of the simulated enemy under the conditional name “Ottoman Republic”.
