The Deputy President of Armenian National Academy of Protection of Consumers Rights spoke at schools on food safety. According to Milena Arestakesyan, there are many additives, substances extending the expiration date that manufacturers use in food, not realizing their danger. In her opinion, this is an actual problem for school cafeterias as well. The Deputy President of Armenian National Academy of Protection of Consumers Rights appealed for preference for local products. In legal aspect, Armenia has everything which is required by international standards, so that this is only the matter of implementation.
