“Ari Tun 2014” program has finished. The closing ceremony of the last, 8th stage of “Ari Tun 2014” – the Armenian studies program for the Diaspora youth – has been held in Tsaghkadzor. Since June 16 to August 30, 1071 teens (13-18 years old) from 35 countries participated in the program. During the first 9 days, the participants of “Ari Tun” program and children of host families familiarized with historical and contemporary places of interest, participated in various meetings with public and cultural figures, took lessons in Armenian studies in fatherland, learned folk dances and songs; 5-days course of Armenian studies was conducted for them. In previous years, last four days of that program were spared for active rest at a camp in Tsaghkadzor. At the farewell campfire under the slogan “Farewell with a hope to come back” the participants expressed their gratitude, performed folk dances and songs. The RA Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan attending the closing ceremony of “Ari Tun” underlined the significance of the program for the preservation of Armemianess and assured that the program will be still more extended and improved.
